Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Slovenia Games Conference website (the "Site") and your registration for and attendance at the Slovenia Games Conference 2027 (the "Conference"). The Conference is organised by the Slovenia Games Association ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Site or registering for the Conference, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or register for the event.

1. The Conference

The Slovenia Games Conference is an annual event dedicated to game development, design, art, marketing, and business. The Conference takes place at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, Večna pot 113, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. The programme, speakers, schedule, and venue arrangements are subject to change.

2. Registration & Tickets

• Registration and, where applicable, a valid ticket are required to attend the Conference.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• Tickets are issued for personal use and may not be resold or transferred for commercial gain without our prior written consent.
• We reserve the right to refuse admission or registration at our discretion, including where these Terms or our Code of Conduct are breached.

3. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

Ticket prices and payment terms will be published on the Site when ticket sales open. Unless required by applicable law or stated otherwise at the point of sale, tickets are non-refundable. If the Conference is cancelled by the organisers, we will offer either a transfer to a rescheduled date or a refund of the ticket price. We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs you incur.

4. Code of Conduct

We are committed to providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. Attendees who violate these standards may be removed from the Conference without a refund and may be refused entry to future events. By attending, you agree to follow the instructions of the organisers and venue staff.

5. Changes to the Programme

Speakers, sessions, schedules, and other programme details are indicative and may change without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the Site up to date, but we do not guarantee that any particular speaker or session will take place.

6. Photography & Recording

Photography, audio, and video recording may take place during the Conference for promotional, archival, and educational purposes. By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in such materials and grant us the right to use them. If you do not wish to be featured, please contact the organisers on site or by email in advance.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and images — is owned by the Slovenia Games Association or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use this content without our prior written permission. Materials presented by speakers remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services (for example, ticket providers, sponsors, or social media). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Accessing them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Site or your attendance at the Conference. Attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings and conduct throughout the event.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the "Last updated" date shown above. Continued use of the Site or attendance at the Conference after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
